First stop ... chinatown .. i love this place. well thats because i am a chinese. they have everything that you will never expect to find in singapore. From cheap necessities to cheap good food, famous dessert shops, old housing, chinese medical halls that sells weird things to fengshui, travel agency .. the list just goes on and on and on ... well ...
WELCOME TO DISCOVERY CHINATOWN!!!
1st stop.
Before we start to walk the beauty of chinatown. Lets get our stomach filled. We head down to Tong Shui desert store at this shopping mall opposite Chinatown square
Its located at the 2nd floor corner beside another famous desert store
They have a variety of cold and hot selections. I must strongly recommend this place. their desert is flavorful and its big generous portion for a cheap price..
we ordered : bobo char char - cold and waterchestnut with sago
you must try the waterchestnut with sago. this is one of the best desert for the body. waterchestnut is known for the cooling effect to dispel heatiness. Sago gives u simple carb as an instant energy booster. so for a quick pick me up on a hot afternoon .. skip your coffee for this cooling crunchy dessert!

ahhh .. this is satisfying . next stop, lets check out what so unique in chinatown and we check out the chinese medical halls and cheap necessities shop ..
Have you seen the 3 for $10 shop before ? if you have not .. they are everywhere in chinatown. lol quite strange and this ho kee pau too.. they are everywhere !!!
so they must be a good bargain .. go see if they do have something interesting for u ..
while walking inside the shopping center. i notice the most perculiar thing on earth. this boutique actually have 20 manequins neatly lay out in a row outside her small shop just to attract those ah ma and aunties
realy a good business tactic har .. lol or simply stupid ?
then we came across this nice auntie who is famous for selling her nonya kueh in her baju kebaya.. so cute and interesting, remind me of my grandmother
CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP clothes for sale .. but would you buy them???

This is funny.. i have only seen pple selling chicken wings .. but this store sells duck wings .. interesting .. keep it up uncle ...

and then we saw alot of construction everywhere .. what the hell .. but this yellow sign guided me ..
to this hawker center .. and the best thing that caught my attention was this shop .. they have rows of roast duck everywhere !!!
EEks .. i am an advocate of vegetarian lor .. why kill so many animals .. and chinatowns have tons of such duck rice chicken rice store around
well on the way to check out the famous swanston shop .. everything is so freaking cheap here
but well before that, we come across this old fashioned fruit stall.. so interesting .. will you buy from here ???

hmm .. didnt buy anything though, but manage to catch some new products that is going cheap even the latest dove series of body foam .. go check it out .. lol
and when we were on the way back, we saw this shop .. chinese medical shop that sells everything include ermz ... dried seafood. you can see sharksfin , abalone, and everything got to do with the sea...so wrong .. we shld advocate less killing ...
ok, can you make out what the hell is all this ???? i do not even know .. looks so weird
ok this is so old school dustbin .. where to find this anymore ? at chinatown lor .. lol .. alongside is the old fashioned singapore logo .. so interesting

so we drive alongway to our ramen store again .. i took all these pic. central, civil defence heritage center, chijmes, a mosque and a chinaman who ride the bicycle with one leg .. lol
so interesting ...
geez ... so we are at desker road .. lol swee choon dimsum eating ramen .. yes yes .. and yes we had some dimsum too .. but the principal dish is the ramen .. so nice
enjoy ... ehh . how come this old man so poor thing eating alone ?
Hee .. dan dan dry ramen .. this is so nice, really awesome, the minced meat and toufu is generously layed ontop of the smooth ramen .. if u read my previous entry, u will know the noodle have this special texture that you cant find anywhere .. so you must try it ... please try
and we ordered fried toufu also .. damn nice
lol .. i am satisfied ... i am so satisfied while you are squeezing at the IT fair .. lol
and so we journey to borders and catch some reading session and we drive past some interesting shop in little india with interesting name and yeah .. everyone shld go buy from them .. lol.. i see cartons of fresh fish littered everywhere .. so disgusting.. why they like to buy fresh food from such dirty place .. but then it might be tasty with thosehousfly flying ard
why the name fakruddin .. make me think otherwise .. lol
okay in borders .. come across 3 amazing interesting title. really catch my attention
will you buy them ?? so interesting .. GOD is a salesman, he started selling his idea since time inemorial . it shld state GOD is a successful salesman .. lol ...
we went shopping at the japanese supermarket at isetan
